All questions are optional but the more questions you answer the better we can understand your goals and how we can help!

And do you own or rent?
The answer could be acres, or just a small garden bed.
Is it shaded by trees or other buildings?
Examples could be vegetables, berries, herbs, cut flowers, a butterfly garden, fire wood, or less tangible things like privacy, tranquility, wildlife habitat, a play area, a place to entertain, etc.
A forest, a meadow, a secret sanctuary or maybe a stately chateau?
Are there any times you are unable to use the garden, for example, do you need shade to cool off in the heat of the day, do mosquitos bother you in the evenings?
Or wildlife you wish to attract, or any pest problems you anticipate arising.
Would they want an area to play catch? Do they want to interact with wildlife, or join in growing vegetables?
What are they like?
Are you interested in automatic irrigation?
Would you like one?

How Does It Work?

  1. We start by having you fill out our brief questionnaire describing your goals, your area, and your lifestyle.
  2. We’ll review the information you give us and schedule a free, no-obligation Zoom call to discuss everything in more depth.
  3. When you are ready, we can schedule an in-person consultation visit at $70 per hour (usually one hour for a suburban lot) in which I will come to your property, take soil samples, and give general advice on how to build a healthy ecosystem.
  4. Next, you can choose to buy a written plan that encompasses all the things we discussed and envisioned during your home visit.  The plan would include a technical drawing detailing what to plant, where to plant it, and how to take care of it.  You can then either proceed on your own from that plan, or hire Broken Hills Daffodils to do it for you.
  5. Once your garden is in place, we will teach you how to care for it, or you can purchase a maintenance package where we will come out and tend the plants for you, and even harvest them when they are ready to be picked.
