Invasive Plant Removal/Containment

  • Removing a plant that has gotten out of control can be a first step that also allows us to become more intimately familiar with the property as we work.  Whenever possible, we prefer to do the work of removing problematic plants by hand or with mechanical assistance, so the use of herbicides can be avoided.

  • Sometimes you may like the plant that is causing problems: say you have a trained wisteria tree that keeps sending out new vines, a mint plant that is slowly taking over your garden bed, or a patch of bamboo that just keeps getting bigger, Broken Hills Daffodils can work with you to find a solution that contains these opportunistic plants without getting rid of them entirely.
